About Chris Roller

Chris earned an MBA in international business and is an emergency Multi-Hazard Mass Notification system expert with over 20 years of experience working with governments and foreign militaries in over 100 countries. His career began in the Aerospace industry providing solutions in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. After the Boxing Day Tsunami in 2004, Chris, pivoted from the Aerospace industry to public safety and lead a small US company to remedy the missing last mile of notification with a satellite linked national Tsunami Alert and Warning System. This solution was implemented before the first anniversary in Thailand and shortly after in Sri Lanka, other countries, and island nations. In 2013, Chris joined Genasys Inc because of their innovative technology in both software and hardware solutions. Genasys is modernizing the Alert and Hazard warning field help first responders plan, train and execute evacuations through efficient multi-channel communication tools such as smart phones, software systems and crystal clear loudspeakers providing instructions before, during and after an event. Chris became well known in the industry and was recognized by the World Trade Organization, USTDA and FEMA for his work. The information learned overseas was brought back to the US and with the assistance of FEMA developed a holistic solution that is being applied to many US cities today. Chris has managed these programs and continues to provide his expertise with Genasys Inc.
