An effective Emergency Management Program is more than just developing Incident Response Plans. Applying a back to basics approach, guided by 3 P''s; Policy, Program, Plans, a practical, effective and easily maintained program is simple to create. With a practical policy and program in place, important details needed to create useable Incident Response Plans are less likely to be overlooked.

About Flemming Kristensen

Flemming Kristensen has seen incidents from the bottom up and the top down in his more than 38 years in private security, policing, and emergency management. He has been directly involved in the response to major incidents including an EF4 tornado, widespread floods, landslides, wildfires, and civil disturbances. He has deployed as a front-line first responder, Operations Chief and Planning Chief. He is a certified Incident Command System instructor and experienced Emergency Management trainer. Flemming's consulting practice has provided service to major utility companies and First Nations communities. Flemming holds a diploma in Law Enforcement from MacEwan University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Great Falls (Providence). Based in Phoenix, AZ, Flemming does his best creative thinking on the seat of one of his motorcycles on a twisty back road.
