Preparing Employees for A Disaster

Will your employees report to work when a disaster strikes? If an employee's home and family are not safe and secure, they may not respond. This presentation will review how organizations can prepare for disasters, as well as offer ways to promote and encourage employees to prepare at home.

About Jannine Wilmoth, PhD, RN, CEM

Dr. Wilmoth is Emergency Manager for the City of Anaheim. With over 15 years in the field of emergency management, Wilmoth has gained extensive experience in special event planning and operations, community education and outreach, emergency plan writing, and training and exercise programs. Highlights include planning and operations for the 2008 and 2015 Super Bowls and serving as a subject matter expert in planning and operations for both the H1N1 and COVID-19 pandemics: She is a Certified Emergency Manager through the International Association of Emergency Managers. Wilmoth has a Master's in Public Health focusing on Disaster Management from Benedictine University, Illinois and earned a Ph.D. in Business Administration focused on Homeland Security from Northcentral University, California.
