How the GSA procures products on the Government's behalf

GSA's Disaster Purchasing Program allows federal, state and local governments to buy supplies and services directly from all GSA Schedules to facilitate disaster preparation, response, or major disaster recovery. During our presentation we will share the avenues available to procure these items and highlight some of the Disaster-related products available through the GSA Schedule Program.

About Kris Ann Nieswiadomy

Kris Ann Nieswiadomy, Business Development Specialist, has worked for the General Service Administration for nineteen years. In her sixteen year career as a Warranted Contracting Officer in both the Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) and the Public Building Service (PBS), Kris Ann was recognized as a subject matter expert in Law Enforcement and Security contracts with a special emphasis upon Security Guard Service contracts and most recently Armored Vehicles.

Kris Ann joined GSA’s Office of Customer and Stakeholder Engagement (CASE) as a Program Analyst and then as a Business Development Specialist. Working in this role, Kris Ann provides GSA contractor’s with valuable, experienced-based information and solutions to assist in their individual business development strategies. Kris Ann also provides support to GSA Customers seeking effective, efficient and innovative solutions to accomplish their procurement missions.

Through her ongoing outreach and training to GSA’s internal and external stakeholders, Kris Ann is uniquely positioned to bring these stakeholders together to build relationships which leverage GSA’s resources for the benefit of all.
